Got a call claiming to be from HMRC saying there’s a legal case linked to my NI number, but they never gave any reference numbers. What if you have housemates or family living with you - who exactly are they targeting? Seems dodgy to me. HMRC don’t ring you up like that, so it’s clearly a scam. Best just block and ignore these sorts of calls. - caller: HMRC?
