Got a text supposedly from Halifax on my husband’s phone but luckily we’re familiar with how our bank usually writes and greets us in messages, and the link looked really suspicious like Http;/mypayees-view-online[###]? Be really careful if you get messages like that and you’re not sure who it’s from. Always ring up your bank directly or use their official app chat to check instead of falling for a scam. These people don’t care about stealing your hard-earned cash.

I got a text that my phone marked as spam from this number. It said something like: "Halifax: a new payee was added on 18/11 from a different device. If that's not you, check out [#]mypayees-view-online[###]." Pretty sure it's a scam, so I didn’t click anything.
