Just got a text from “LloydsUK” saying they’ve set up a direct debit for £849.99 with Kris Construction LTD, and the money’s due to leave my account on 10/04/26. Problem is, I never gave permission for this. It says if it’s not authorised, I should ring 020 7164 0038 immediately. Bit worrying, don’t know if it’s legit or a scam.

SCAM - Got a message on my phone from this number claiming to be Lloyd’s in the UK. They said a big sum was going to be withdrawn from my bank for a builder and told me to ring 02071640038 if I hadn’t agreed to it. (I’ve also flagged that other number as a scam now)
