I keep getting calls from 07308 354791, part of an endless parade of shifting numbers from a bunch of Eastern Europeans who insist they’re affiliated with “the Bockchain” and are supposedly keen to help me reclaim my funds. I was duped by a couple of sophisticated investment frauds back in July 2023, and now I’m hounded by these chaps relentlessly. Each day brings a new caller, with a fresh name and number. I suspect these folks are connected to the original crooks, operating as a different unit or call centre, and are likely tied to the follow-up swindles known as “recovery room scams.”
