I keep receiving a barrage of unwanted telephone calls!

I received a call purporting to be from a fraud prevention team, touting their assistance with credit card debts. They even mentioned a financial wellbeing initiative. Honestly, it all felt rather dodgy to me, especially since I don’t have any credit card debt at all!

Just got a call from +44 7308 354220, shows up as UK on my phone. They didn’t leave any voicemail, so I guess it wasn’t anything urgent. Funny enough, about an hour earlier, the same number rang 0161 354 3592 in Manchester, but again, no message was left. Bit strange if you ask me.

Just got a ring from this number, some bloke saying he could sort out my credit card debt, which is rubbish because I don’t owe anything. He mentioned I was picked for this Financial Wellbeing Programme. When I asked where he got my info from, he didn’t answer properly, just kept going on about helping with debt. When I told him he was wrong, he called me a liar! Totally a scam, don’t trust it.
