I got a call from a lady who had a strong foreign accent and there was loads of noise in the background. She was saying something about my SIM card, but I don’t even use their mobile provider. She never asked for my name or anything and kept going on, so I just ended up hanging up and blocking the number straight away.

I pick up and there’s nobody there, then they just cut the call. It’s been happening quite frequently these days.

Got a call where no one spoke, felt like it might be one of those scam calls.

I got a call from a woman with an accent, and there was a lot of noise in the background. She kept trying to talk about my 02 mobile plan, but we’ve never even had one. She couldn’t even say my name properly and was pretty insistent. I just ended the call and put her number on block.

Got a call from some random number acting like they’re from a mobile provider. They clearly had no clue who they were ringing up. What’s funny is, I don’t even use Vodafone, the network they said they were from. They tried to freak me out saying my phone would stop working and I wouldn't be able to get calls from family. Then they said I needed to get a new SIM card, and they’d send it for free - but only if I handed over my info so they could ‘check my account’. Totally dodgy if you ask me.
