Picked up the phone, but all I could hear was noise in the background. Not a clue who they were trying to reach.

I let it ring out without picking up and the caller didn’t leave any message on the voicemail. To me, that just screams spam.

I answered and the person on the other end just gasped once, then quickly ended the call. It definitely seemed like a call centre with all the noise in the background, but no one said a word.

Heads up, folks! Got a call saying it was from EE, but it’s a scam. They warned me my SIM would be blocked in 3 days if I didn’t do something. Totally a trick to try and get your cash. Don’t fall for it!

Someone rang saying they were from EE, but the connection was awful. They warned my SIM would get blocked in 48 hours. When they requested my security details, I quickly said I needed to hang up. They sounded pretty annoyed. I’ve put in a report to EE and gave them the number that called me.
