Got a call from someone pretending to be HMRC - total scam!

WARNING: I received a text supposedly from HM Revenue & Customs saying I had a tax refund waiting. The link took me to a site that looked almost identical to the official government page, which was pretty convincing. They asked for my name and postcode, but I put in made-up details that aren't real. After that, it claimed I was due about £300. Then it started asking for loads of personal info that could be used to set up fake bank accounts or loans under your name. Definitely don’t share any details and just block the number straight away.
