Had loads of calls from different numbers within just an hour - checked them here and all were labelled as scams. Really annoying!

I got a message from 07307 930349 claiming to be from the DWP, but it seemed dodgy to me. It included a link at the end, but luckily someone had already posted about it here. I’ve gone ahead and reported the number and blocked it. The text said something about a subsidy application for 2024-2025, warning that if you don’t apply by 11 April 2025, you’d miss out on £200 to £300. Sounds like a scam to me!

Got a text from what looked like the Department for Work and Pensions saying I hadn’t applied for a subsidy for 2024-2025 yet. They said I need to send in the application before 11 April 2025, or else it gets closed, and they mentioned you could get between £200 and £300 if you’re eligible. There was a link included for submitting it online. Felt a bit fishy though, so I haven’t clicked anything yet.
