Got a text from 07307 810036 saying, "Got a moment to talk?" I nearly replied "yeah" just to hang up right after, giving them the "moment" they asked for. Didn't do it in the end though, figuring at my age I probably don't want to waste time or trigger some kind of read receipt from a random number. I've seen others say these types usually try to pitch some kind of business deal. Honestly, if their scheme was as amazing as they claim, you'd think they'd just keep it quiet and cash in themselves rather than bothering others with it.

Got texts from someone pretending to know me, asking if I was free for a chat. Definitely a scammer fishing for personal info, so watch out!

Got a dodgy job offer text from this number. It said something like, "Hi, I'm Chris from VOLT recruitment. Mind if I send you details of a new job? Thanks a lot." The English was decent, though "thanks a lot" wasn't capitalised properly. I answered with a bit of a joke: "No need to apologise, Chris is a lovely name." Then they came back with, "Could I get the hiring manager to send the job info through Whatsapp? You can check it out and see if it fits what you want." I said, "Cheers, but I don't think Whatsapp is the best way." Since then, nothing. Pretty sure it's a scam.
