I just received a text from this number saying “O2 UK: Your account has been restricted because of a problem with your payment method. Please check your details here to prevent more restrictions: o2-alertscustomers[###].” This seemed fishy to me since whenever O2 contacts me, the messages come from "O2 UK" directly and not some random phone number. Pretty sure this is just a scam trying to trick people.

Got a message that claimed to be from O2, saying my account was being restricted. It included a link that looked just like the real O2 site, but it’s a fake site designed to trick you. Everything seems so legit but don’t put any info in, it’s definitely a SCAM.
