I got a call from someone who claimed to be from a place called "toomail" or something like that, but honestly, I couldn’t catch what they were saying very clearly. They told me I had to return or come back for some sort of service. The weird thing is, I hadn’t actually been anywhere - they just woke me up! Plus, I never gave my number to anyone, so I have no idea who was trying to reach me. Pretty sure it was a scam. Funny enough, that number was supposed to have been unused for the last 8 months or so, yet suddenly they gave me a ring. Strange!

Got a text supposedly from the UK home office, saying I needed to click some links to check my details. Seems like a total scam to me. The mobile I saw was 07307 679746. Be careful!

Got a call from an American woman using the number 07624 649786. Couldn't quite catch which company she was from, but I’m pretty sure it was a scam since only two family members have my landline number and I never share it with anyone else. As soon as she said, "Hi Mam how are you?" I just ended the call straight away.

I got a call from 07307672864 while I was behind the wheel, so I didn’t pick up. Later, when I was parked, I returned the call and asked who was speaking. The person claimed to be from the HMRC Investigations team. They wanted my full name, so I only gave my last name. Strangely, they then used my middle name, which HMRC definitely don’t have on record. Plus, HMRC only have my home phone number, not this mobile. When I mentioned that HMRC wouldn’t know me by that middle name, they started asking more questions, but I declined and they ended the call.

Been getting calls from this number about 5 times within a couple of hours. Whenever I pick up, they just cut the call immediately.

I kept ringing them back, asking why on earth they were trying to scam me. The bloke asked if I even had any money before just hanging up. Next time a woman picked up but didn’t say HMRC or anything, so I asked where she was calling from. Then she said something like “you're not one of us, are you?” before telling me to shut up and hanging up. Well, if that’s how they wanna play, so be it!

Got a robotic call warning me about a tax fraud investigation! It told me to press 1, which I did, but then it said no one's free to talk and asked me to leave a message. I just ended the call right there. The person on the line had an American accent, which raised my suspicions from the start, plus I know I’m up to date with my taxes. Still, it kinda freaked me out a bit, so I looked up the number here. I’m definitely going to block it now.
