My Tesco Mobile rang, showing 'possible scam call', so I ignored it like I always do with these sorts of calls. Later on, I looked it up here and ended up blocking the number.

I’ve had a few calls from +447307540200, anyone else getting this number ringing them?

Took a few seconds for the call to actually pick up, which felt a bit dodgy for an overseas scam. The person said they worked for a mobile network and were trying to sell me a SIM card. Since my number’s on a do not call list, I doubt they should have had it. When I asked where they got my contact from, they couldn’t give me a proper answer. They claimed to be calling from London but strangely agreed it was an international call. The accent definitely sounded Indian.

Got a rubbish voicemail on my phone, said it was from HMRC and that legal steps are coming if I don’t respond. It told me to press 1 to chat with someone. Total scam if you ask me.
