I ended up matching with someone on Hinge, but as soon as we started chatting, she asked me to switch to WhatsApp. Soon after, her profile vanished from Hinge. I decided to look up the number and found out it was linked to some kind of stock scam. So, I went ahead and blocked the number, then reported it on WhatsApp. Feels like dodging a bullet there!

This one’s definitely a pig butchering con. They aren’t genuine at all. They’ll chat really slowly, trying to convince you to invest in some so-called "stock options" and end up scamming you out of your cash.
