I got a text from this number and, like many others here, it turned out to be a scam. Best thing I did was just block it straight away.

Got a message on Facebook from someone saying they were HSBC about adding a new payee named Mr C Jones to my account. There was a link included - definitely don’t press it, it’s not safe!

Just got a text from HSBC saying a new payee was added for Mr C Jones on my account via the mobile app. If I didn't do this, they tell you to click a link to cancel it. Feels a bit suspicious, anyone else got this?
