Someone opened a betting account pretending to be me, using my DOB, previous address, and email. Lucky for me, I got an email alert about a wager placed, so I reset the password and found more than £2,500 sitting in there. I moved the money to my own bank and closed the account for good. Feels good to outsmart them, especially since they tried to steal my identity!

Got a text saying ‘Santander: a new payee was added on 06/02/22. If you didn’t do this, go to: httpsJ/santander secure-auth-acc.com’. I rang Santander myself and they said it was a scam. Didn’t reply to the message at all.

Got a text from this number and it seemed dodgy right away. It said something like "Santander: a new payee was added on 06/02/22. If that wasn't you, go to santander.new-recipient.com." Felt like a proper scam so I didn't click on anything. Stay careful, folks!

Received a message claiming I had to obtain my NHS covid-19 pass, complete with a dodgy link requesting my personal details, including my debit or credit card information for payment. However, the official NHS website clearly states that the covid-19 pass is free. This number was clearly trying to pull a fast one on me.

Received a text at half eleven last night stating: "NHS: You're now in a position to request your new NHS COVID-19 Pass. Not applying could lead to a penalty." The application link was included. Since I’ve hidden my number, I’m playfully keeping an eye on them! 😄

Today, I got a rather dodgy text on my phone that I decided not to engage with. I’ve since chucked it in the bin! The message read something like: 'Santander: A new PAYEE was added on 04/02/22. If this isn’t you, kindly visit [link removed].' Quite suspicious, if you ask me!
