Today, at precisely 22:28 on the 25th of October 2021, I received a rather suspicious text from +44 7306 595192. The message read, “NHS: You’ve been in contact with someone who has COVID-19. You must order a PCR Testing Kit here: [link removed].” To be quite honest, I haven’t so much as set foot outside my home lately, apart from heading to work at the NHS. It’s painfully clear that this is a fraudulent attempt. Firstly, why on earth would they reach out from a personal mobile number? Secondly, the link they provided is not working at all - it simply won’t load. And lastly, the whole scenario doesn’t align with my activities over the past month in the slightest. I’m sharing this to alert others to this dodgy business!
