Received a dodgy message three days back regarding an outstanding payment for a parcel.

I reckon I’ve been targeted by a scammer! Just received a dodgy message stating that ‘your parcel has been rerouted to the local post office because of an outstanding shipping charge. Please go to... to settle the payment and organise re-delivery.’ Sounds a bit fishy, doesn’t it?

Just to clarify, I tested the link from the message by inputting completely fabricated information-random phone numbers, addresses, names, you name it. I even put my birthday as the 18th of January, 1872, and somehow they still managed to find my parcel, claiming there was £1.99 owed. Quite amusing, really! It’s clearly a scam! I advise everyone to steer clear of this caller.

I’ve come across a dodgy post office branch that’s trying to lure folks into clicking on a link to pay some supposed fees. Watch out!
