I received a text that claimed to be from Hermes, saying that James, the delivery driver, was unable to drop off my parcel. Oddly enough, I am indeed waiting for a Hermes delivery today. However, according to their official website, it seems that they won't be making any delivery attempts until later this afternoon.

I received a missed call and a text just over an hour ago indicating that a “James” had tried to reach me. There was a link included for some sort of parcel redelivery, but I wasn’t anticipating anything like that, so it raised my suspicions. I attempted to return the call only for it to swiftly redirect to voicemail. Definitely feels like another scam, so I've gone ahead and blocked the number!

Just like the previous commenter, I received a message from Hermes stating that a chap named James had knocked and I wasn’t in. Am I really expected to put my details into a dubious Hermes website? [link removed] No, thank you, James. I'll pass on that, if it's all the same to you. The last thing I need is to become a victim of identity fraud!
