Had a dodgy experience with dpd, feels like a proper scam to me. Wouldnt trust them again.

So apparently there’s this brown dwarf star heading towards our solar system, orbiting a red dwarf, and some people have spotted two red bodies out near the Kuiper belt. They say it’s got such a powerful magnetic field that it’s gonna shift Earth by 30 degrees on its axis, triggering massive volcanic eruptions, earthquakes and worldwide tsunamis - total disaster. This has apparently been known for years, and that’s why all the super-rich are in a mad dash to get to the Moon, since it’s got no magnetic field or molten core and supposedly won’t be affected. Elon Musk is launching heaps of satellites to block the sky, while scientists are trying to fend it off by using the Large Hadron Collider to boost Earth’s magnetic field. There’s even talk of building a gigantic magnetic shield around the Moon in the next decade. My little grandson’s only 18 months now, but in ten years this slow-moving disaster is supposed to kick in. I can’t just accept a planet dooming him before he’s had a chance to live his life properly - that’s all that matters to me.

Got a message at 11:09 pm on 11/08/21 claiming to be from DPD saying a delivery had failed and giving a link to reschedule. Wasn't waiting for any parcel though.

I've received a text from this mobile number claiming to be from DPD, the parcel delivery service. However, the link enclosed in the message leads to a fraudulent phishing site that could pose serious risks. The message claims they attempted to deliver a package while I was out, urging me to visit their site for rescheduling. Thankfully, I’m equipped with top-notch security software (Emsisoft) on both my mobile device and laptop, and I also use Firefox, which has excellent built-in protections. Together, these safeguards prevented any phishing attempt from succeeding. Numerous individuals and companies have flagged this site as a phishing threat. Seriously, avoid clicking on the link in the text unless you've got robust security measures in place.

Just got a call saying they tried dropping off a parcel from DPD and now I have to set up a new delivery day. Don’t bother clicking the link they sent, it looks a bit dodgy.

Got a text claiming to be from DPD about a missed delivery. I’ve already reported the number to O2.

Got a text from DPD super early at like 3 in the morning saying they tried to drop off a parcel but no one was in, and to reschedule delivery. Total scam though, definitely don't tap on the link.

Got two messages from DPD about trying to deliver a package, one super early between 3-5am and then another at 12:08pm! I've been home all day watching the road and haven’t spotted any DPD vans at all. Feels like a total scam. When I clicked the link, it didn’t go to the proper site but opened a ‘Google’ looking page that seemed fake, probably trying to get you to type something in. Definitely dodgy.

Got a call from someone saying they were DPD, wanting to set up a new time for a missed package delivery.

The guy’s name is Stuart Wright, living at 21A Plymouth Road, Barnt Green, Birmingham, B45 8JF. Turns out, he’s got a criminal record for fraud! No surprises he’s got such a posh house. Honestly, I hope someone sets him straight soon.
