Phone number ☎️ 07306238253 👆 is reported as a scam involving fake O2 messages warning of account or payment issues. The callers or texters attempt to extract sensitive bank details, specifically sort codes and account numbers, which genuine O2 communications would not request. The impersonation includes convincing imitation websites and phishing links. Multiple users confirmed the alerts were fraudulent by contacting O2 directly. The scam targets mainly debit card holders, as credit card payments offer better protection and can be cancelled. Recipients are advised to remain vigilant, avoid clicking links, and never share banking information in such circumstances. No genuine O2 service disruptions correspond to these messages, and the number is linked exclusively to deceptive activity.

5 yearsI received a message claiming I must refresh my O2 information or risk being disconnected. However, I highly suspect this isn't truly from O2.5 yearsIt seems they're after the information related to debit cards, likely with the aim of siphoning off funds from people's accounts. They've been pushing for sort codes and account numbers, which is peculiar since such information isn't relevant to credit cards. The underlying reason, I suspect, is that transactions made using credit cards can be easily reversed, leaving them with no gain. I must admit, their counterfeit O2 website appeared rather convincing. There’s a chance it’s been taken down by now-let's hope so for everyone’s sake, though I can't help but wonder if that's just me being overly optimistic. I’ll be honest, I didn’t exercise the level of caution that in hindsight, I should have. Thankfully, I always settle my O2 bills with a credit card, so I’m aware of the protections that come with it, which is why I refrained from providing my debit card information-what protection does that afford, really? As I mentioned, their system wouldn’t accept my input without that pesky sort code and account number. I ended up calling O2 directly, and they verified it was indeed a scam.5 yearsReceived a message that contained a link, claiming to be from O2, indicating there was an issue with my billing. It was quite clear this was a scam attempt.5 yearsReceived a text from "O2" claiming there's an issue with my account, but honestly, there’s nothing wrong at all!5 yearsReceived a message asserting that my O2 payment was overdue. Clearly, this is a fraudulent email.5 yearsJust received a text indicating there was an issue with processing a payment for my O2 account, which is quite amusing since I don't even have one! Clearly, it’s a scam. 😂😂😂5 yearsScam alert!5 yearsJust like others have experienced, it’s a total con!Submit Your Own Report (07306 238253)
