Felt a bit dodgy. I got a call from an automated voice saying it was from HMRC about a letter supposedly sent by post. They warned if I didn’t respond, there’d be legal trouble. I pressed to speak to someone, and straight away got put through to a person. They started asking about unpaid taxes and who handles my tax payments. Seemed odd though, no security questions or anything that you’d usually get with a proper official call.
