Got one of those scam calls where they go "Hey mum, I’ve broken me phone" - total rubbish. Just hung up and blocked the number straight away.

Got a message that said something like, ‘Hey mum, I’m using a mate’s phone coz I’ve broken mine and theirs is nearly dead. Can you drop a WhatsApp to my new number - - - - ? Cheers x’ but beware, it’s just a scam.

This is just one of those 'Hello mum...' scam messages. Best to just ignore it.

This is a total rip off. The number they want you to message on WhatsApp is dodgy too. I replied with “wrong number” and got radio silence. They're just trying to scam you out of your cash!!! Best to just ignore them and tell them to do one. Bet it's the same lot of new arrivals living off taxpayers’ money in posh hotels!! Taking money through taxes and now pulling stunts like this. Just block this number and 07867602919, don’t bother replying.
