Got this message about a tax refund at 9.22pm while I was working a late shift last night. It said I'd paid too much tax and included a link to check it out - https://hmrc.direct-access.info. Obviously, I’m not going near that link, looks fishy as hell and probably trying to steal bank info. Not giving them a chance to scam me. Just deleted the message and blocked the number straight away.

Was working a late shift last night and got a message at about 9.22pm saying I’d paid too much tax and was owed some money back. It included a link https://hmrc.direct-access.info but I’m not falling for it so didn’t click it. I reckon it’s a scam probably trying to steal bank info or something. No way I’m giving them anything. Just blocked and deleted the number straight away.

I got a call claiming it was from HMRC, saying I was due a tax refund. Sounded a bit dodgy to me, especially when they asked for bank details straight away. Honestly, it felt like a scam - just be careful and don’t hand over any personal info!

I didn’t get a call but received a text saying a parcel delivery had failed, even though I hadn’t ordered anything. Pretty sure it’s just some sort of scam.
