Totally a scam, watch out!!! The NHS usually sends track and trace texts, but they look nothing like this one. I’ve gotten five close contact alerts and none came in this kind of format. Plus, these fraudsters want you to click on a link to buy an omicron test kit - that’s a huge red flag. Don’t click on any links and keep yourself protected!

Totally a scam, pretending to be the NHS! They want you to click on some dodgy link like omicron.my.status-13.com, which is definitely unsafe. Don’t fall for it - best to block and steer well clear!

I got a text saying I’d been in contact with someone who has Omicron, and it claimed to be from the NHS. But it just felt a bit dodgy to me. Does anyone know if this is for real or just some kind of scam?
