I’ve just received a rather dodgy message from a personal mobile claiming to be linked to the NHS about a track and trace notification due to contact with someone who has Omicron. They mentioned something about test kits being accessible. Clearly, this is a scam, so my advice is to steer clear and block that number! Stay safe, folks!

Got a text from supposedly NHS track and trace about covid, but it turned out to be a scam. Be careful, it’s not legit!

At about 8.21pm today, I got a message claiming to be from NHS Track and Trace saying I’d been near someone with Omicron and should get a test kit via nhs.status-9.com. I don’t even use the track and trace app, and the number looked dodgy. So, I looked up the number here and I’m pretty sure it’s a SCAM. Just a heads up to everyone be careful!

Got a dodgy text pretending to be from NHS Covid track and trace! Honestly, some folks are really the worst these days. The message looked totally scammy and it’s scary how clever they get. I don’t even use the track and trace app so definitely don’t believe anything like that. Stay safe and wary!
