Somebody called saying they'd tried to drop off a parcel but couldn’t. Thing is, I wasn’t even waiting for anything. Then they asked me to pay £14. Seems dodgy to me.

On Saturday 23/10/2021, I received the very same text. I wasn’t sure if it was legit or just a scam, so it’s good to know I’m not the only one who got it. Now I don’t have to keep guessing what it means. Stay safe out there, especially if you’re not waiting on a delivery!

They claimed to be from Hermes, but I wasn’t really buying it. Just blocked the number straight away.

Got a call and they sent me a dodgy link. Looks like a classic scam to me. Be careful!

I got a message with a link to what seemed like a proper website, but then it wanted me to enter my birthdate (which made no sense) and my card info to cover a redelivery charge. They claimed they’d tried to deliver twice but I was home both times and nobody showed up. Definitely feels like a con, why on earth would they need my birthday for delivering a package?

So apparently Hermes tried to deliver something to me, but I wasn’t actually waiting for any parcel from them. Seems like a scam to me. It’s happened before too, just with a different phone number this time.

Got a text saying it was Hermes saying I missed a delivery. Didn’t order anything and obviously didn’t miss any parcel. It’s just another dodgy scam number trying to fool folks. Best not to click on any links!
