I reckon this might be a scam. I've gotten nearly identical texts from two separate numbers, both saying something about Omicom variance and supposedly from the NHS.

Got a random call claiming to be from the NHS saying I’d been near someone who tested positive for that Omicron 80 variant. They told me to click a link to get a test sent out. Problem is, this is my work phone and there's no T/T on it. Feels dodgy to me, like another one of those sneaky scam calls. Honestly, there should be a simpler way to block these numbers quicker.

Got a text saying I’d been near someone with the Omicron Variant and that I needed to order a test from omicron.id-80.com. Pretty sure it’s a scam, so don’t click any links if you get the same message!

Got a message telling me I'd been near someone with coronavirus and needed to get a test kit through a link they sent. Totally fishy though, as I haven't even had the Track & Trace app on my phone for ages, and no one I know has had covid recently. Definitely a scam.

Got a message saying I might have been exposed to covid and to follow a link to get some sort of omicron test kit. Honestly, seems a bit sketchy to me.
