I got a call on my home phone from an Asian guy who just kept talking so fast I could barely follow what he was saying. When I asked him to slow down, he said something about me being owed more than £2000 for a mortgage I supposedly had ages ago. Thing is, I never had a mortgage - it was all in my husband’s name. He just wouldn’t let it go. Definitely feels like a scam to me. His English was awful too, honestly hope they go back to wherever they came from quick!
