I got a call from someone with a really thick South Asian accent, claiming that my IP address had been used to sign up for Amazon Prime. He kept pushing me to open a Google page so he could show me what was going on. I refused and asked him where he was calling from. He said London, but when I asked for his phone number, he hesitated and then said he couldn’t give it out because of "security reasons." I told him if he couldn’t prove he was legit by giving his name and number, then he was definitely a scammer. That’s when he suddenly got quite rude and hung up on me.
