I got a call from what sounded like a robot, saying it was HMRC. The message said there was a tax fraud case against me and that a warrant had been issued in my name. They told me to press 1 for details or the warrant would go ahead. Since I’m on a pension and HMRC already deducts any tax owed directly from it, I find it hard to believe I’m being accused of anything dodgy. I've blocked the number and marked it as spam straight away.
