Got a call from someone claiming I was being looked into for tax fraud, which was just bizarre and honestly quite laughable. It’s a pathetic way to try and frighten people into handing over cash. Can you believe someone’s life has come to this, trying to scam money like that? Don’t be worried if you get a call like that - HMRC definitely wouldn’t get in touch with you using those kind of threats or messages.
