I got a recorded call telling me I'm being investigated and that if I show up at the police station, I'll be arrested. They said someone stole my identity and did dodgy stuff with it. Then they started asking for my real bank account info and said I'd have to buy gift cards from a shop and send them the codes to keep access to my accounts - which sounded totally bonkers. They also threatened to cancel everything and stop me from working if I didn’t comply. Needless to say, it was clearly a scam.

The moment I picked up and greeted them, there was this robotic voice warning me that I've supposedly got a criminal case for dodging taxes. Sounds like a typical scam to me.
