I received a text supposedly from EE saying my payment didn’t go through and telling me to click a link to update my bank info to avoid some "Fines". I looked at my bank and the last payment to EE had actually cleared without any issues. Plus, I’m quite certain that EE or any other phone provider can’t just slap on 'Fines' like that. I’m sure if I’d followed the link, it would’ve taken me to a fake site designed to steal my bank details.
