I had someone try to pull a con on me while I was selling something online. They sent me fake pics of bank accounts and came up with loads of excuses to get me to post the item. Since the thing I was selling is worth more than £1000, I was super careful before sending it off. When I called them out, they just stopped replying and blocked me or ignored my messages. Watch out for these kinds of folks. I’ve also reported them to Gumtree for trying to scam others.
