I've been getting loads of texts about "Winter cold protection welfare" and winter fuel payments, like about 20 messages from different numbers. They all say stuff like "check if you’re eligible" or "register now" with links and claim to be from the Government. I've blocked a bunch, but then another one pops up from somewhere else. Seems dodgy to me, like a phishing scam. I heard Age UK already warned people about these. Definitely don’t trust those messages!
