Avoid dealing with ACE DRIVING TESTS +44 7398 148830 This bloke is a con artist! I nearly fell for it and was about to send the money. Luckily, I spotted the warning signs just in time, but now he's started to hurl insults at me. He messaged me asking for payment to: Name - Jade Mullins Sort Code - 774917 Account Number - 32131968 He insisted I include only my name as reference and then send a screenshot of the payment so he could confirm my booking. Stay clear of this scammer!

I ended up losing £165 after booking my driving practical test through what turned out to be a scam call. Definitely a dodgy number, so be careful!

How has this con artist not been caught yet? If anyone’s been scammed out of cash, they really ought to have gotten in touch with their bank straight away and also alerted the police - dial 101 if you're in Scotland or 0300 123 2040 elsewhere in the UK. You should also text the number and details of the scam to 7726 and just follow whatever instructions you get back. Seems like this fraudster hasn’t been properly flagged yet.

Absolutely a scam! I asked for my refund and instead they started threatening me with sexual assault. This person is obviously really risky. I’m definitely reporting them to the police and I’d suggest you do the same. Don’t hand over any cash to them!

I got tricked by this guy recently. He said the initial £300 payment for me and my brother hadn’t cleared, so he asked me to send it again. Ended up losing £600 in total to this scam.

Beware, they’re running a con. They try to get you to pay £165 for cancelling a driving test, asking for your info, then just ignore you afterwards. I’ve told my bank and Action Fraud, and now they’re being looked into.

Avoid @ACEDRIVINGTESTSUK at all costs. Total rip-off. They’ll ask for £165 upfront then just vanish without a word. I kept trying to get in touch but nothing back. Here’s the last message they sent me before going silent: “Send payment to Alexya Fiangam Leukam, Sort Code 77-85-66, Account No. 06031268. Make sure you put your name as the reference. After you pay, send a screenshot so I can confirm your booking.” Make sure you report this to your bank and Action Fraud ASAP.

Everyone should really take the time to report these scammers to ACTION FRAUD, it’s honestly the only way to put an end to this. I just reported them myself earlier today. Also, keep a record of the bank details you sent money to because they always switch up the names.

Beware of this booking scam! They take £165 and then go silent. Best not to get involved, and if you’ve been scammed, definitely get in touch with your bank. They keep moving the cash through various accounts to stay under the radar. Stay safe!

It looks like they keep changing bank details whenever they get paid. The one I got was under the name Christopher Phillips. Their Instagram is acedrivingtestsuk_, but they've shut down comments since people started catching on.

Telling your bank is important, sure. But you should also make sure the police get told about it. Check out the Action Fraud site at police.uk where you can fill in the victim report. If you’d rather call, the number’s 0300 123 2040. These driving exam scams have been in the news across the country for quite a while now. Also, don’t think that getting the cash back from the bank is just free money - the cost ends up hitting everyone through things like worse interest on savings, bigger fees and fewer local bank branches.
