Like someone else said before, this was one of those Hi Mum scams, but it definitely wasnt my daughter calling.

Got a dodgy message pretending to be from my mum saying her phone's knackered. Definitely a scam, wouldn’t trust it for a second!

My mum got this dodgy text saying her phone was lost and she needed to click a link. Sounded like a scam to me, definitely trying to trick her. Be careful with messages like that, they’re usually just trying to steal info.

Got a text that said: "Mum Ive broke my phone a mate let me use theirs to text you but its low. Can you message me on my new number its 07300500362 x" (all the mistakes were theirs). Thing is, it came from this number: +447708071345 No way I replied to that.
