This number rang me up and a recorded message came on saying it was from Inland Revenue, warning me I had to pay up or face legal action. They asked me to press “1” to speak to an advisor. The voice sounded robotic and nothing like the usual HMRC or GOV.UK announcements. I didn’t press anything. I honestly reckon this could be a scam or some dodgy number. Be careful!
