I've been receiving numerous phone calls, around five to six daily, from someone masquerading as HMRC, claiming that my National Insurance number has been breached. Naturally, I rang HMRC using their bona fide number immediately, and they confirmed that they're well aware of these fraudulent attempts. They've made an official statement stating that these calls are phishing scams and are definitely not authentic communications from them. It’s becoming unbearable and really needs to come to an end!
