They asked me to press 1 to speak to a technician. Being curious, I pressed 1 and got a bloke with an asian accent claiming to be from BT. I asked him if he knew where the nearest police station was since I didn't have the time to report him myself. He sounded confused, so I told him flat out he was a conman, a liar, and a thief (and not even a good one) and he ought to turn himself in. Then he just told me to "#### off" and hung up.
