So, these people say they're from the Amazon fraud team and mention some weird "79.99 points" thing? You'd expect them to say £, €, or $ instead. They tell you to press some buttons to talk to a person. They've rung me four times today alone, starting bright and early at 8:14am. Never ever press those number keys to get through - just hang up and report the call. Blocking might help a bit but they keep calling from different numbers. All calls today had the same quick, robotic message. Really annoying!

I've received several calls today purporting to be from the fraud team at Amazon.co.uk, and they've thrown around this figure of 79.99 points, which is quite odd as you'd expect them to refer to pounds, euros, or dollars, wouldn't you? They've called me no fewer than four times, starting annoyingly early at 8:14 this morning! I strongly advise against pressing any number keys to connect with these impostors-just hang up immediately and consider reporting the incident. You could also attempt to block them, but good luck with that; each of the four calls I've had today came from a different number, all featuring the same rapid-fire, automated spiel. Quite a nuisance, really!
