I recently received a rather alarming voicemail on my mobile from a number claiming to be HMRC, warning that they’d issue an arrest warrant if I didn’t press “1” to talk to someone. Naturally, I decided to hang up. This is the second instance of this happening, but thankfully it came from a different number, which I previously blocked.
