Got a voicemail from someone pretending to be HMRC saying I owe money for unpaid taxes. Sounded dodgy and they wanted my card details, which made me suspicious. I know HMRC doesn’t ring you from a mobile or leave recorded messages like that. If you’re worried about your tax stuff, just ring HMRC yourself using your PAYE or tax reference to check straight away.
