Just like others have mentioned, I received a call from an Asian-accented lady claiming to be from Windows, insisting that my computer was apparently dispatching harmful emails. When I labelled her a scammer, she seemed rather taken aback and vehemently denied it. However, she got quite flustered when I referred to her as a thief.

Absolutely a scam, no doubt about it! Received a call from an Asian woman with the same spiel as what others have mentioned about my computer needing assistance from Windows. I told her she’d got the wrong number and hung up straight away. It’d be really useful if folks could flag these messages here, if only Unknownphone.com would ease up on the barrage of pop-ups that obstruct our comments as we try to type!

I received a call today from a woman with an Indian accent, purporting to be from Windows customer support. She went on about a supposed issue with my computer sending out harmful and threatening messages globally. She even recited some lengthy string of numbers she claimed were linked to my device and asked me to power it up to confirm it was mine. Realising it was nothing more than a scam, I replied that the number she mentioned wasn’t familiar to me. She was keen to know what number I had instead, but I told her to shove off, fully aware she was just a fraud trying to intimidate people into handing over personal information. I reckon she should seek honest work instead. Of course, she promptly cut the call.

I encountered a typical issue with my computer, and when I mentioned that I didn't own one, she insisted otherwise and we ended up having a bit of a disagreement.

Received a call today at 13:41 from a woman sporting an Indian accent, clearly operating from a call centre. She was attempting to pry into my Microsoft Windows account details. Fully aware that this was a dodgy scheme, I decided to humour her, pretending to follow her ridiculous directions on my keyboard (meanwhile, I was comfortably nestled in my armchair). She became increasingly flustered when I didn’t provide the responses she was fishing for. After about five minutes of this charade, I outright told her that I recognised her as a scam artist! To my surprise, she had the audacity to deny it. I've now blocked her number from my line.

This evening, just before 7 o'clock, my wife received a call from a lady who had a noticeable accent from overseas. She wanted to chat with the person who operates the computer at our home. My wife informed her I wasn't available, to which the caller replied, "I'll give him a ring tomorrow." I suspect she may attempt to reach me again, but she’ll be met with disappointment as I’ve blocked her number!
