Got a call from a woman’s robotic voice saying I needed to ring a number or I’d face legal trouble. It all felt really dodgy to me, just like the usual scams.

Just like what others have said, I got this bogus automated call from someone saying they were Sarah Wilson from HMRC, but she had an American accent. The message told me to ring back or else there'd be legal trouble. Total scam, no way I’m falling for it.

Got a call earlier from Sarah Wilson too, felt like she was just reading from a script. Seemed a bit fishy to me, not sure if it’s a legit call or just another telemarketer messing about. Anyone else had a weird chat with her? Definitely didn’t feel genuine.

I came across a fraudster using the number 07520625380 on Gumtree. They ring up pretending to use PayPal but it’s all a sham. They want you to send goods to 24 Glen Moray Drive, Elgin, Morayshire, IV30 6YA, supposedly for their fiancé. They even send fake PayPal receipts and tell you must send money abroad or the FBI will stop the payment. Pretty dodgy if you ask me.
