Got a call from 07166 6707 pretending to be HMRC saying I'd be arrested for tax I hadn’t paid. I pressed 1 and then some guy with an Indian accent asked for my name. I kept asking who exactly he wanted to speak to since they’d called my number, but after a few times he just cut off the call.

Received a call from an automated voice saying there was fraud involving my info and that it was from HMRC. I knew straight away it was a scam because there's been loads of these going round lately. I ended the call pretty quick. The last six digits of the number were not the same as what others have mentioned; the caller ID showed 07166 120710.

Got a call from someone saying they were from Carphone Warehouse, but I’m not a customer there, so figured it was a scam. Asked them to remove my number from their list (not sure if they'll actually do that), then I ended the call and blocked them. Definitely fishy.
