Got a call earlier from some bloke on an automated message saying I had a tax fraud case with HMRC. He warned me that if I didn’t press 1 right away, they’d send a warrant and come arrest me straight away. I hung up and waited, thinking the police would turn up any minute - guess what, after half an hour, still no one. Definitely a total scam. HMRC would never handle things like that. These scammers just want your bank details or card info, so watch out.
