On the 10th of October at precisely half eleven, I got a rather dubious phone call from a woman with an Indian accent claiming to represent BT. She was quite alarmed, insisting that my Internet had been compromised by a foreign hacker. She then inquired if my computer was currently switched on, suggesting that I should turn it on so she could "assist" with my Internet security. Upon politely declining her offer, she made a rather threatening remark about disconnecting my Internet if I didn't comply with her instructions. I promptly ended the conversation. Interestingly, she had first reached out to me from 07507472882, but as soon as I expressed my disinterest, she called me again from a different number.
