This number rang me up with a recorded voice saying that an Amazon card I’d used before was charged for buying an iPhone. It asked me to press 1 to verify or 2 to talk to someone. I went for option 2 and got an agent on the line. He couldn’t give me any details about the card but said he could stop the order if I logged into the internet on a PC, laptop or smartphone. I told him I didn’t have any of those, and he said he’d cancel it anyway. I’m pretty sure at some stage they’d need me to confirm my card details...
